Job Title: HR & Internal Communications Manager
Position Summary: You will play a crucial role in designing and implementing the company’s HR and internal communications strategy. You will ensure effective management of the company’s human capital, ensure compliance with legal obligations, and contribute to creating a motivating, inclusive work environment aligned with the company’s values.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruitment and Onboarding: Manage the entire recruitment process (job postings, candidate selection, interviews, onboarding new employees).
- Talent Management: Develop and implement strategies for talent development, employee retention, and succession planning.
- Performance Management: Oversee the performance appraisal process and support managers in setting goals, providing feedback, and developing employees.
- Employee Relations: Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns and questions, ensuring a positive and fair work environment.
- Compliance: Ensure that all HR practices are compliant with local labor laws and regulations.
- Training and Development: Identify training needs and coordinate programs that enhance employee skills and growth.
- Compensation and Benefits: Manage payroll processes, review compensation strategies, and ensure competitive benefit packages.
- HR Policies and Procedures: Develop, update, and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with company objectives.
- Diversity and Inclusion: Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace, promoting equal opportunities for all employees.
- HR Metrics and Reporting: Track HR-related metrics and provide regular reports to senior management on hiring, employee turnover, satisfaction, etc.
- Internal Communications Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communication strategy to ensure alignment with company objectives and culture.
- Message Delivery: Develop and manage content for internal communications. Ensure clear, consistent, and timely delivery of company-wide announcements, policy changes, and updates through appropriate channels (email, intranet, newsletters, etc.).
- Leadership Communication Support: Work with senior leadership to craft and deliver key messages to employees regarding company vision, goals, and strategic changes.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5 to 10 yrs proven experience as an HR & Communications Manager or similar HR role.
- Proficient in Dutch and English. Good level of French is a big plus.
- Strong knowledge of labour laws and HR best practices.
- Strong knowledge of HR processes (and IT solutions). Ideally with Odoo ERP that we are busy implementing.
- Strong understanding of communication tools and platforms (e.g., intranet, email systems, collaboration tools)
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and confidentiality.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills. Proven experience in change management
- Problem-solving and conflict-resolution abilities.
- Willing to travel in Europe from time to time
